🍌✨Best Healthy Banana Bread Recipe (No Refined Sugar, Sweetened with Honey)

There’s something so comforting about banana bread. It’s the scent that fills your kitchen, the soft crumb, and the way it feels like a warm hug with every bite. But when you add a swirl of Sparkle & Honey, that comfort turns into pure golden magic.


It’s naturally sweetened with honey (our favorite kind, of course), made with wholesome whole wheat flour, and comes out beautifully moist and flavorful.


You can bake it in two loaf pans (perfect for sharing or gifting) or in one Bundt pan for a stunning table centerpiece. I love doubling the recipe — because one loaf never lasts long!


✨ Ingredients (for 2 loaves or 1 Bundt pan)

  • ⅔ cup melted coconut oil or olive oil

  • 1 cup Sparkle & Honey 

  • 4 eggs

  • 2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 5 medium bananas)

  • ½ cup milk (any kind — dairy, oat, almond, etc.)

  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus more for swirling)

  • 3 ½ cups white whole wheat flour

  • Optional: 1 cup mix-ins like chopped walnuts, pecans, chocolate chips, or dried fruit

🐝 Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease two loaf pans or one Bundt pan.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted oil and Sparkle & Honey until glossy and golden.

  3. Add the eggs, mashed bananas, and milk, whisking until smooth.

  4. Whisk in the baking soda, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon.

  5. Switch to a wooden spoon and stir in the flour until just combined. A few lumps are fine — don’t overmix!

  6. Gently fold in any mix-ins you love.

  7. Pour the batter into your pan(s). Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top, and if you want a swirl effect, run a knife in a gentle zig-zag.

  8. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice once cooled (if you can wait that long).
